Filippo Gaddo

Filippo brings more than 20 years of experience with governmental entities and major consulting firms, providing extensive energy industry and economic insights.

Prior to joining MAP, Filippo was chief economist and transaction advice leader at Arup, providing business strategic advice to corporates, engaging in economic policy and regulation advice, and supplying due diligence on infrastructure transactions. He served as primary innovation advisor on strategic investment in new ventures and developed industry collaboration to accelerate energy transitions via advocacy with policymakers and regulators, commercial partnerships, industry associations and strategic customer relationships. He completed highly complex financial transactions valued at over £10B and was recipient of multiple Advisor of the Year awards as the head of the business advisory practice group.

Filippo started his career in the UK Civil Service, where he spent seven years as senior economist in the energy policy team.

Filippo holds an MsC in international economics from University of Nottingham and a laurea summa cum laude in economics from Universita’ di Trento.
