Katie Sheahan

Katie leads several client engagements with a focus on technology, financial services and philanthropy.

She has an extensive background in macro research and strategic advisory in public and private sector contexts. Prior to joining MAP in 2016, Katie was an Africa country risk analyst at BMI Research, a Fitch Group Company, where she assessed political, economic and financial market developments and provided clients with actionable insights on the risks and opportunities around market entry and engagement. Katie previously worked at the European Union Institute for Security Studies and Chatham House, where she focused on European foreign and security policy.

Katie has an MSc in security studies from University College London and a BA in politics and economics from University College Cork.
